Wayman Chapman has been playing recently with the highly skilled and Grammy winner Larry Knechtel. On August 6th in the Yakima Herald Republic there was a article entitled Making More Music That went in to the talent behind these two amazing musicians. Here is a little bit of that article, I quote :
"Larry Knechtel, who once played keyboard for the musical group Bread, is now living a more relaxed life but still playing.
First thing, Larry Knechtel says in a gruff, matter-of-fact way — "no dirty laundry."
"I'm saving that for my book," quips the silver-haired 65-year-old Los Angeles native as he settles into the leather couch occupying a small piece of his spacious Naches farmhouse.
A mammoth Steinway piano takes up almost the entire other half of the living room.
A handful of picture frames with photos of his three grandkids in Halloween costumes mugging for the camera sit on top of the Steinway ... right next to Knechtel's Grammy.
"I think they make them bigger now," he says of the small brass phonograph statuette he received in 1970 for his work with Simon & Garfunkel (...)
"When I wasn't playing, I wasn't happy," says Knechtel (...)." "Here are just some of the records Knechtel's lent his talent to:

A quote from Oleta Adams,
"This fantastic gift that Wayman has, has been evident since we were singing in the high school choral groups together. It was obvious even then that this passionate music was burning inside of him and had to find it's way out through his voice, his bass and guitar.
Wayman has always remained committed to his music, just as he has been a devoted friend. Because of his longtime dedication to music, he has stored up a sumptuous feast of personally inspired songs that we are finally priviledged to enjoy. And while it is way overdue, it is well worth the wait...bon appetit!"
